Dean Wake

Dean Wake has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dean is currently working as a Frontend Lead at xpate, where they focus on enhancing the frontend team's output and efficiency. Dean utilizes NextJS and AWS to simplify development and improve the end user experience.

Before joining xpate, Dean worked as a Frontend Developer at both Frontmen - Frontend Experts and NonDutch starting in 2016. In these roles, they honed their skills in frontend development.

Prior to that, Dean served as a Software Developer at NuCom Systems from 2015 to 2016, where they gained experience in software development.

In 2014, Dean was a student at Heriot-Watt University, and in 2013, they worked as an IT Consultant at CherryOlive. At CherryOlive, Dean's responsibilities included building and maintaining an SMPP (SMS) core system, a customer reporting system, and a multi-flow SMS system.

Dean Wake attended Edenglen High School from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Prior to that, they attended Hurlyvale Primary School from 2000 to 2006. Dean Wake later obtained a BSc in Computer Systems from Heriot-Watt University in March 2015 and a Diploma in Information Systems: Software Design from CTI Education Group in March 2013.
