Chao Liu

Chao Liu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and management within the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at XPENG Motors since May 2021, Chao Liu leads the Emulation business, overseeing hardware procurement and data center planning, as well as process development and team building. Prior to this role, Chao Liu worked as a Senior Engineer at Huawei from April 2020 to May 2021, focusing on GPU technology research and performance analysis. Chao Liu also has a background as a MTS Silicon Design Engineer at AMD, where responsibilities included building a performance validation platform for GPU graphics core IP. Earlier experience includes positions at Cadence Design Systems, where Chao Liu was involved in core processor chip validation. Chao Liu holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering and Information Science from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Master's degree in Circuits and Systems from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
