Rick Kwan

Rick Kwan has held various positions in the software engineering field since 2009. Rick began their career as a Computer Scientist and Project Manager for the American Academy of Aeronautics in 2009. In 2010, they held a position as a Power and Performance Engineer for Intel Corporation, as well as a Software Engineer for a smart phone app developer. In 2012, they worked as a Linux Software Engineer for HP Palm. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Software Design Engineer for MIPS (part of Imagination Technologies). In 2014, they held a Technical Advisor and Board Member position for CubeCab. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Technical Advisor, Strategist, and Developer for stealth start-ups and non-stealth clients. In 2019, they took on the role of Integration Lead for Xplicit Computing, Inc. In 2020, they co-founded ASTRA Innovation, devoted to aerospace research technologies.

Rick Kwan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) from the University of Southern California from 1977 to 1981. In December 2017, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
