Tom Byrne is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as a Retained Technology Advisor at Xplor Technologies, Tom contributes to a global platform that integrates SaaS with embedded payment solutions. Previously, Tom held the position of Senior Vice President of Technology at Planet, managing global infrastructure and engineering for a company serving over 800,000 merchants. Tom's career also includes significant roles such as Head of Global Infrastructure & Operations at Primark, Head of Compute & Storage Engineering at Susquehanna International Group, and Global IS Infrastructure Centre of Excellence Manager at Tullow Oil. Additionally, Tom's early career at EMC included roles as Senior Solutions Architect, Implementation Specialist, and Customer Service Engineer, building a strong foundation in enterprise storage and cloud infrastructure solutions.
