Adam Simpson

Adam Simpson has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple roles and companies. Adam currently serves as Commercial Director at x+why since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at etc.venues from 2009 to 2023, where they held various positions including Director of Marketing and US Sales, Head of Group Sales, and Business Development Manager. During their time at etc.venues, Adam successfully established a profitable business in the US market, directed marketing operations in the UK, and achieved impressive sales targets. Before that, they worked as an Account Manager at BCD Meetings & Events from 2007 to 2009 and as a Sales Manager at One Great George Street from 2005 to 2007. Adam began their career in 2001 as a Corporate Groups & MICE Sales Manager at glh Hotels.

Adam Simpson attended Cranfield School of Management in 2019, where they pursued a Director as a Strategic Leader program. In 2011, they enrolled at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing and completed a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing. Earlier, from 1998 to 2001, Adam attended Durham University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Classics.
