Mark T. Rutledge

Mark T. Rutledge, PhD, currently serves as Associate Director - Product Owner at XponentL Data since June 2025. Previously, Mark held the position of Associate Director, Clinical Digital Innovation Lead at Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. from July 2023 to June 2024, and prior to that, Mark was with Sumitovant Biopharma, Inc. as Associate Director, Senior Digital Innovator - R&D Team Lead and Digital Innovator from December 2019 to July 2023. Mark began a career in digital innovation at Roivant Sciences as a Digital Innovator from October 2017 to December 2019, focusing on employing modern technologies to enhance the drug development and clinical trial processes. Mark earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Science with Highest Honors in Applied Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology.
