Bj Hinkle

Bj Hinkle is a Senior Networking Engineer at XpoNet. Bj has over ten years of experience working in the IT field. Bj started their career as a Lab and Field Technician at the Kentucky Transportation Center. Bj then moved on to Ashland, where they worked as a Network Engineer Co-op. In May 2007, they began working for IBM as an IT Architect. Bj worked with different hardware architectures and operating systems, including IBM's PowerPC, Intel, Linux, AIX, and Windows. Bj also worked with virtual servers, such as VMware vSphere and ESXi. In addition to supporting IBM's software, they also designed and implemented Cisco-based environments for datacenters around the world. Bj has also designed and built the mobile network core that travels to each of IBM's trade shows, supporting anywhere from 600 to 15,000 attendees with quick deployment and tear-down.

Bj Hinkle has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky. Bj also has a certification from Cisco in Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA).
