Barshan Das

Barshan Das is a Lead Software Development Engineer at Xpressbees, where since January 2022, Barshan has led the development of a pioneering Geo-spatial intelligence solution for the logistics industry, utilizing Java, Spring, and a micro-services architecture. Prior to this role, Barshan served as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Micro Focus, contributing to an enterprise-level network monitoring tool, and at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where involvement in an ETL project for business data processing was prominent. Barshan's early career at the Indian Statistical Institute focused on algorithms for facial expression recognition and human face detection using OpenCV and Qt. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Banaras Hindu University and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from Asutosh College, University of Calcutta.
