Jonathan Williamson

Jonathan Williamson is an accomplished business development professional with extensive experience in the low carbon energy and gas sectors, currently serving as a Business Development Manager at XRG since February 2025. Prior to this role, Jonathan was a Business Development Manager at ADNOC Group, focusing on Low Carbon Energy Investments. Jonathan has held senior positions at Santos Ltd, including Senior Commercial & Business Development Consultant, where significant contracts were negotiated, including an $850 million supply agreement. Previously, Jonathan worked at Shell in various roles, such as Asset Commercial Lead for QCLNG and Commercial Manager for a joint LNG project in Tanzania. Early career experiences include leadership positions at BG Group and Santos, where Jonathan managed substantial gas portfolios and executed multi-billion dollar contracts. Jonathan holds an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
