Avner Shilo

Avner Shilo is an experienced professional in airport operations and regulatory affairs with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Airport Operations & Regulatory Affairs at Xsight Systems since May 2022, Avner also holds the position of Director at ADR Aerodrome Consulting, providing consultancy and instruction services since 2019. Avner has expertise in aerodrome planning, certification, safety oversight, and regulatory affairs, evidenced by roles at the Aircraft Accidents Investigation Bureau, the International Civil Aviation Organization from 2014 to 2019, and the Civil Aviation Authority of Israel. Educational background includes an M.A and B.A in Geography & Environmental Studies from the University of Haifa, along with specialized training in airport design, certification, and safety management systems. Avner's professional journey began as an Air Traffic Controller in the Israeli Air Force, indicating a strong foundation in aviation operations.
