Christopher Schuh

Christopher Schuh has worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 2002, where they currently hold the roles of Danae and Vasilis Salapatas Professor of Metallurgy and Department Head, Professor. In 2005, they founded Xtalic Corporation, and in 2015 they founded Desktop Metal. Christopher is also currently a Co-Founder of Foundation Alloy, which they joined in 2022.

Christopher Schuh received their Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University in 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1997.
