Andy Aitken has been working in hardware development for over 30 years, with experience in companies such as Xtera, Alcatel, BAE Systems, MA/Com, and GEC-Marconi. Andy holds a B.Eng in Physics & Electronic Engineering from The University of Edinburgh. At Alcatel, Andy developed hardware implementations of Forward Error Correction modules for 10Gb/s SDH/SONET submarine transmission systems.
