Johan Samyn

Johan Samyn is a software developer with extensive professional experience in the industry. Currently employed at BASF since January 2024, Johan has been working at XT-i since January 2017 and previously served at Securex from March 2018 to December 2023. Prior to these roles, Johan contributed as a software developer at Nike from June 2017 to February 2018 and worked at Volvo Cars Gent and AC Partners in various capacities from June 2014 to January 2017. Johan began in the tech field as a software engineer intern at TomTom in early 2013, focusing on the analysis and development of software for road maintenance detection. Educated at Ghent University with a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering: Computer Sciences and HOGENT with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Johan also participated in the student council at Hogeschool Gent from September 2012 to August 2013.
