Cameron McBride has over 20 years of work experience in software development and engineering. In 1999, they began their career as a Software Developer at Jobsoft Design and Development, Inc. In 2001, they became a Software Engineer at Emdeon. In 2007, they joined HCA Healthcare as an Application Engineer, where they were the lead developer on the company's enterprise collaboration and search platform using Liferay and Google Search Appliance, as well as the company's intranet using Vignette Application Portal, Google Search Appliance, and Verity search. In 2012, they joined Xtivia as a Senior Digital Experience Developer, delivering android application development and enterprise Liferay DXP development for clients such as Nintendo and LifeWay Christian Resources. Technologies used included Android, Kotlin, Java, Liferay Portal DXP, React, JSP, JavaScript, JQuery, YUI3, Verity, Lucene, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Perl, Shell, Linux, Git, and Android.
Cameron McBride obtained a B.S. in Computer Science from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) between 1997 and 2000. Cameron then obtained a Sun Certified Java Programmer certification in 2009, followed by a Liferay Advanced Developer certification in 2011 and a Liferay Certified Professional Developer certification in March 2014.
