Gary Andrus

Gary Andrus has worked in the technology industry since 1990. Gary began their career as a Programmer at Pratt & Whitney in 1990. In 1991, they moved to Raytheon as a Senior Software Engineer. Gary then joined TNS Media Intelligence as a Senior DBA in 1997. In 2000, they became a Principal Consultant II at Inventa Technologies. In 2003, they moved to Aetna as a Senior Database Administrator, where they maintained the Informix database environment, researched errors, worked with IBM to obtain patches to fix software issues, installed and tested upgraded software, and coordinated major Informix software releases with other teams. In 2019, they joined XTIVIA, Inc. as a Senior Database Engineer.

Gary Andrus obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Penn State University in 1990. Gary also holds two certifications from IBM's Professional Certification Program, one in Informix 11.70 Fundamentals and one in System Administration for Informix Dynamic Server V10.
