Witold Nawrot, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning from 2014 to the present. Currently, they are employed as a Senior R&D Engineer at XTPL since September 2022. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology starting in October 2019. These roles include Assistant Professor, Research Assistant, where they worked on the development of Modular GEM Detector for Space Applications in collaboration with the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CBK PAN) and TECHTRA Sp. z o. o., and Instructor for Autodesk Inventor and Fusion 360. From 2014 to 2018, Witold worked at Politechnika Wrocławska as an Electronics Specialist and Research Intern. Witold also had internships at Dr. Schumacher Sp. z o. o. and Contur2000 in 2016 and 2014 respectively.

Witold Nawrot, PhD has a strong educational background in engineering and materials science. Witold began their academic journey in 2012 at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, where they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering in 2015. During their undergraduate studies, they also earned the Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) certification from National Instruments in April 2015.

Building upon their bachelor's degree, Witold pursued further education at the same university and completed their Master of Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering in 2017. Witold displayed a keen interest in the field of electronics and materials science, which led him to enroll in a PhD program at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. From 2018 to 2022, Witold dedicated their doctoral research to the study of Electronics / Materials Science.

While working towards their PhD, Witold had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and experience in their field through a PhD exchange program at Technische Universität Ilmenau in 2021. This provided him with exposure to the field of Materials Engineering, expanding their expertise beyond their primary focus.
