Maggie Ng

Maggie Ng has extensive work experience in the field of financial communications and public relations. Maggie is currently employed at XTransfer as the Public Relations Director in Hong Kong since June 2023. Prior to this, they were a Public Relations Manager at XTransfer from May 2023 to May 2023.

Before joining XTransfer, Maggie worked at Cornerstones Communications Ltd. from January 2019 to May 2023. Maggie held the position of Senior Consultant, leading a team to provide investor relations and strategic public relations services to listed companies and financial institutions in Hong Kong. From January 2019 to January 2020, they served as a Consultant at the same company, providing investor relations, public relations, and corporate communications services to renowned listed companies, financial institutions, and other financial companies in Hong Kong.

Maggie also gained work experience at Chatwin Communications Limited as a Senior Executive in Financial Communications from 2018 to 2019.

In their earlier career, Maggie worked as an Associate Investment Banking - Corporate Finance at Central China Securities Holdings Co., Ltd. from November 2015 to November 2016. Maggie was involved in a wide range of corporate finance transactions, including IPOs, spin-offs, M&As, compliance advice, restructuring, and other fundraising activities. Maggie also participated in due diligence and execution processes, prepared financial analysis, feasibility studies, listing documents, and presentations, and communicated with clients, professional parties, and regulators.

Prior to their role at Central China Securities Holdings Co., Ltd., Maggie worked as an Account Executive in Financial Communications at Hill+Knowlton Strategies from April 2014 to August 2015 and as a Media Relations Officer at Wonderful Sky Financial Group Limited from May 2013 to April 2014.

Maggie Ng has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance from CUHK Business School, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Social Science in China studies - Economics from Hong Kong Baptist University from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Maggie also holds additional certifications including being a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA®) from EFFAS - The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies, obtained in October 2022. Maggie also obtained a certification in Introduction to Sustainable Finance from the United Nations in the same month and year.
