Ron G.

Ron G. has over 25 years of work experience. Ron is currently the Founder and CEO of xtype, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2021, Ron was a Senior Product Manager and Technology Evangelist at Automic Software (now acquired by CA Technologies). Before that, from 2011 to 2012, they served as the Director of Products at Nolio, where they were responsible for product management and marketing. In 2009, Ron founded NovoSight, where they invented "downloadable application performance management" and developed a go-to-market plan. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as the Director of Product Marketing at OpTier. Additionally, Ron worked at Symantec from 2003 to 2006 as the Director of the APM Project Office EMEA, providing sales support for the i3 suite. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2003, they served as the Director of Technical Services and Pre-sales at Shunra. Ron started their career at Mercury Interactive (sold to HP for $4.5B) as a Technical Manager in Scandinavia, where they later set up and managed a regional sales office. Overall, Ron has significant experience in product management, marketing, sales support, and technical services.

Ron G. pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 1994 to 1997 at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Following this, in 2005, they attended Pragmatic Marketing to enhance their skills in Effective Product Management.
