Ken Liao

Ken Liao has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ken is currently serving as the Founder & CEO of Xverse, a position they have held since December 2020. Prior to this, from 2017 to January 2021, they worked as an Engineering Partner at Blockstack PBC.

Before joining Blockstack, Ken co-founded and served as CTO of prapo.com / Modastic Groupe from June 2013 to December 2017. Ken also worked as a Treasury Technology Analyst at TD Bank Group from May 2011 to December 2013.

Earlier in their career, Ken held positions as a Software Developer at Merrill Lynch, a Quantitative Research Associate at BMO Capital Markets, a Trading Associate at Scotia Capital, and a Technical Analyst at Rogers Communications. Their career began as a Java Developer at CIBC in 2007.

Ken Liao completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 2011.
