John has over 10 years of experience in software engineering and development. John is currently the VP of Design AR/VR at XVIID. Prior to joining XVIID, John was a Cloud Consultant at Chromata, where they developed the frontend design, ran cloud DevOps, and assisted in developing and deploying the backend architecture for the Chromata platform. John has also worked as a Software Engineering Consultant at Namastream, where they helped a startup SAAS streaming platform fix various frontend and backend issues in their codebase and tech stack. John is an expert in React, node.js/express, mongoDB, and AWS lambda/API gateway.

John received their bachelor's degree in graphic design from the University of Mississippi. John also studied business administration while at the university.
