Richard C.

Richard C. has over 15 years of work experience in the field of data privacy and security. Richard is currently serving as the Director of Data Privacy & Security at XWELL since May 2022. Before that, they worked at Advisor Group as the Senior Director of Application, Architecture Security & Data Protection from August 2019 to May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of IT/Information Security Officer at ShiftWizard from February 2017 to August 2019. Richard also served as the CTO/Cloud Security Architect at Paradigm Technology Group from March 2014 to February 2017, and as a Cloud Security Architect at Microsoft Corporation from 2007 to March 2014.

Richard C. earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with a specialization in Strategy and Innovation from Capella University, completing their studies from 2019 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration from Capella University and Indiana Institute of Technology, respectively. Richard has also obtained additional certifications, including the Foundations of Leadership Certificate from The National Society of Leadership and Success in 2023, and is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Capella University. Richard also holds various IT-related certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
