John Cahill

John Cahill is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in fluid filtration systems and mechanical design. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Xyleco since June 2012, John developed an ultrafiltration process for biomass streams and transformed filtration processes into a production system. Prior to this role, John worked at Koch Membrane Systems from May 1988 to March 2012 in various positions, including Mechanical Design Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Project Manager, and Project/Design Engineer, where expertise in engineering design and project management was showcased. John's career began at General Dynamics Electric Boat from June 1985 to May 1988 as a Project/Design Engineer, focusing on reactor plant fluid systems for Naval submarines. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester, earned in 1985.
