Afkar Rafique

Afkar Rafique has over a decade of experience in engineering, specializing in firmware and hardware development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Xylem since April 2017, Afkar leads a team focused on firmware delivery and testing. Prior experience includes roles at Aztech as an R&D Engineer, where responsibilities covered embedded firmware for networking products, and at Toshiba India Pvt. Ltd. as a Software Engineer working on embedded software development. Positions at 3i Corporation and Tekbridge Solutions provided additional foundational experience in embedded systems and firmware design. Afkar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
