Debarati Nath

Debarati Nath is a Data Scientist at Xylem since January 2023, with previous experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Extend AI, where responsibilities included testing and validating machine learning models, feature extraction, complexity analysis, and developing automated systems. Additionally, Debarati served as a mentor at AI4Good Lab, guiding projects in machine learning and natural language processing, and as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Manitoba, engaging in student support, marking, and research in microwave systems. Early career experience includes lecturing at Premier University in various engineering subjects and leading projects that garnered recognition, such as a first-prize-winning AI-based mental health app at AI4Good Lab. Debarati holds an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Manitoba and a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology.
