Gary Schlachter

Gary Schlachter serves as the Vice President of Global Smart Water Software Engineering at Xylem since July 2022. Previously, Gary held various roles at Sensus from October 2013 to August 2022, culminating in the position of Senior Director, RNI Core, where responsibility included the development and management of the Regional Network Interface (RNI)™ Core. Earlier experience encompasses significant leadership roles at Tavve Software, where Gary was VP of Engineering and a co-founder, as well as Director of Engineering, contributing to the design and development of network management and security products. Gary's career began at IBM, where involvement in software development projects spanned nearly a decade. Educational credentials include an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University.
