John Umlauf

John Umlauf is an experienced professional with a strong military background and expertise in logistics and operations management. Serving as a District Manager and Regional Logistics Manager at Xylem in early 2025, John previously held the position of Sergeant First Class in the US Army since January 2016, completing three tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, and leading over 150 successful combat missions. John's prior experience includes a role as Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from April 2004 to December 2015, and positions at GE Power Conversion and ALLEGHENY TECHNOLOGIES INC where John honed skills in team supervision and operational efficiency. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Penn State University, earned between 2002 and 2010.
