Mark Schnell

Mark Schnell, MEngEE, is an experienced architect currently with Xylem Inc. since October 2018. Prior to this role, Schnell served as a Senior Principal Engineer in the Office of the CTO at Cree from December 2015 to June 2018, where responsibilities included exploring new technologies and integrating successful outcomes into product lines. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Principal Engineer at Extreme Networks, focusing on customer-centric solutions in Software Defined Networking, and a long tenure at Cisco Systems with roles ranging from Senior Technical Leader to Senior Hardware Engineer. Mark Schnell also held engineering positions at Nortel and Bell Northern Research. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
