Richard Blong

Richard Blong serves as the Vice President of Global Engineering & Product Management at Xylem Inc., leading the Engineering and Product Management for the Applied Water Systems Growth Center since November 2010. Richard has held various strategic roles within Xylem, including Managing Director of Flygt A-C Custom Pump and Director of Custom Pump & Americas Operations, demonstrating expertise in driving business growth and operational efficiency. Prior experience at ITT includes roles as General Manager, overseeing a $360 million facility, and multiple managerial positions in product management and operations with a focus on chemical process industries. Richard holds an MBA in Operations Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
