Sam Berger

Sam Berger is an accomplished Human Resources leader with extensive experience in various key positions. Currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources for Applied Product Technologies & Treatment at Xylem since October 2017, Sam leads HR functions for Sensus North America, Global Engineering, Global Marketing, and Software Development, overseeing a team responsible for 1,500 employees and $700 million in annual revenue. Previously, Sam held roles such as Senior Director of Talent and Leadership Development at Sensus and HR Director for North America at GE Energy. Additionally, Sam contributed as a Board Member for Chapel Hill Cooperative Preschool, emphasizing high-quality early childhood education. Academic credentials include an M.B.A. from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, a Master of Labor Relations and Human Resource Management from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University.
