Tanja Hedberg

Tanja Hedberg has an extensive background in electrical engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Electrical Motors R&D and Chief Engineer at Xylem Water & Wastewater (Xylem Inc.) since April 2002. Prior roles at Xylem include Senior Research Engineer and Manager of Electrical Motors R&D. Tanja began the professional journey as a Doctoral Student at LUT University, where a Ph.D. in electrical engineering was completed from 1998 to 2002, following a Master’s Degree in the same field from LUT University from 1992 to 1998. A brief tenure at Siemens AG involved work on a master thesis in IGBT transistors. Tanja also gained international experience as an Erasmus student at the Technical University of Munich during 1996-1997.
