Jon Landerville is a seasoned professional in the field of accident reconstruction, currently serving as Vice President of Accident Reconstruction Services at YA Engineering Services since December 2022. Landerville has extensive experience, beginning as a Jr. Engineer at Severy, Inc., and advancing through roles such as Materials Engineer at Signal Circuits, Inc., Test Engineer at BR Labs, Inc., Group Head at Hughes Aircraft Company, and positions at Knott Laboratory, LLC, VOLLMER-GRAY ENGINEERING LABORATORIES, INC., and Vector Scientific, Inc. Notably, Landerville founded Momentum Engineering Corporation, where service as Sr. Forensic Engineer included the application of advanced computer simulation and animation techniques in accident analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering: Advanced Dynamics from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.

Dethlefs, P.E., S.E., founded YAES in January 2019 after spending over twenty years and becoming a Principal at one of the largest and most well-regarded forensic engineering firms in the United States. Our goal with YAES is to offer a team of highly qualified, technically excellent engineering professionals who work seamlessly together to service the needs of our clients in the model of an engineering cooperative. Our quality control procedures require that all analyses, reports, and deliverables receive critical technical and style reviews prior to issuance. YAES provides immediate response to new assignments, performs investigations in a timely manner and provides comprehensive reports that are clear, concise, and backed by reasonable analyses and recommendations.
