Software Engineer at Yaak

Markus Henschel has worked in the software engineering field since 2000. Starting as a Research Assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK in 2000, they then moved on to become a Programmer at Bally Wulff in 2005. In 2008, they took on the role of Lead Programmer VEGA Project at Yager Development GmbH, and then took on the same role at Vegazz Entertainment GmbH in 2011. Markus then joined YAGER in 2016, where they held the roles of Technical Director, Principal Game Engineer, Development Lead, and Graphics and PS4 Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Yaak Technologies as a Software Engineer.

Markus Henschel completed their Abitur at Weinberggymnasium Kleinmachnow from 1992 to 1997, majoring in Mathematics. Markus then went on to pursue a Diplom in Business Informatics from Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau from 1998 to 2004.
