Matt Lightfoot

Matt Lightfoot is an accomplished gaming industry professional with extensive experience in production and project management. Currently serving as Lead Producer at YAGER since November 2022, Matt oversees the Production department for The Cycle: Frontier, focusing on line management and project quality improvement through KPI analysis. In addition to this role, Matt volunteers as District Lead Volunteer for Enfield Scouts, providing strategic leadership to a large network of young people and adult volunteers. Prior to these positions, Matt held senior roles at Gunzilla Games and Playground Games, leading production efforts and managing development milestones. Previous experience includes significant contributions to Cloud Imperium Games, where Matt advanced through several roles, shaping major content teams and supporting gameplay delivery. Matt’s career began at Bohemia Interactive, co-founding the widely recognized game DayZ, and also included initial management efforts for the DayZ Mod. Matt holds a degree from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
