Yali Dream Creations (YDC) is a San Jose-based comic and graphic novel company founded by Asvin Srivatsangam, dedicated to creating bold Indian stories with global appeal. With genres spanning horror, fantasy, mythology, and grounded superheroes, YDC’s IPs are designed for both readers and screen adaptation.

One of our landmark achievements is The Village, the first Indian graphic novel to be adapted into a live-action series, released as an Amazon Original in Nov 2023, directed by Milind Rau and starring Arya.

YDC is now represented by CAA and is actively developing multiple properties:
	•	RAKSHAK – a gritty vigilante series, currently being adapted with a Hollywood A-list director
	•	The Caravan – horror-action classic with rights sold to a major Indian production house
	•	Variyaan – an epic Tamil superhero saga steeped in ancient legend
	•	Codename Alpha – a subversive, irreverent take on Indian superhero lore
	•	Sevagan – a bold, cinematic urban mythos rooted in modern Chennai

YDC aims to build a “mini Marvel” in India — producing franchise-ready IPs that travel globally. We plan to release 5 new graphic novels yearly and expand our core team to 15–20 creatives worldwide.

We are actively seeking aligned investors and collaborators to help scale our adaptation pipeline, onboard talent (directors, actors), and secure global studio partnerships.
