Fernando Serrano

Fernando Serrano is a seasoned engineering manager with extensive experience in leading software development teams across various companies. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Yalo since June 2021, Fernando oversees four teams on a messaging platform that enhances conversational commerce. Previously, at Rappi, managed the logistics system for the "10 min delivery" product while leading a diverse team of engineers across Latin America. Fernando spent five years at Eventbrite as a Senior Engineering Manager, contributing to core backend projects and actively engaging in team management and development. With a background in project leadership at Instituto Zaldivar and CVTeam, as well as foundational quality assurance experience at Belatrix Software Factory, Fernando holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
