Dmitriy Ostapenko is currently the Head of R&D in the Hardware Department for Self-Driving Technology at Yandex. Previously, they served as the Head of Advanced Research at Arrival from 2019 to 2023, leading a team focused on automotive component prototyping and product management. They also contributed to innovative navigation systems as an OEM Project Architect and Software Engineer at WayRay from 2017 to 2018. Dmitriy earned a Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Moscow State Technical University from 2010 to 2016.
