Тимофей Смирнов

Тимофей Смирнов is a seasoned professional in the field of deep learning and data science with extensive experience across multiple roles. Currently serving as a Staff DL Engineer at Yandex since August 2022, Тимофей is responsible for maintaining reinforcement learning in Neuro and enhancing generative answer pipelines. As a lecturer at the Higher School of Economics, Тимофей teaches courses on deep learning and natural language processing. Previously, as a Lead Data Scientist at VTB, management of a team was successfully executed while developing a unified recommendation system. Other roles include Data Scientist at LoyaltyLab, where a recommendation system was created for offline retail, and Teaching Assistant at Skillbox. Тимофей holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Higher School of Economics, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.
