Brian Richards

Brian Richards is the Senior Museum Curator at the New York Yankees. Brian has also worked as an intern at the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Little League International, and the Pennsylvania Brian'storical & Museum Commission.

Richards began their career in 2005 as a curatorial intern at the Pennsylvania Brian'storical & Museum Commission. There, they prepared a small exhibition on the Pennyslvania Railroad's M1 steam locomotive and researched historic cars and locomotives for federal grants. Brian also catalogued and labeled artifacts within the Museum's collection.

In 2006, Richards interned at Little League International, where they assisted with exhibit design and preparation, as well as event planning and execution.

The following year, Richards was an intern at the National Baseball Hall of Fame. There, they researched the history of minor league and major league baseball in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area for the Hall's "Baseball as America" traveling exhibit. Brian also researched the evolution of baseball uniforms and selected corresponding photos for an online website, and researched the provenance of artifacts within the Hall's permanent collection. Brian assisted with the preparation of the permanent exhibition "Hank Aaron: Chasing the Dream".

In their current role as Senior Museum Curator at the New York Yankees, Richards is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Yankees Museum, including exhibit design, development, and implementation; collections management; and educational programming.

Brian Richards has a Master's in Museum Studies from the Cooperstown Graduate Program and a Bachelor's in Brian'story from Susquehanna University.
