Christopher S. Ahmad, M.D. is the Head Team Physician for the New York Yankees and a Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. They co-founded Crutches 4 Kids in 2009, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing crutches for children in need worldwide. Dr. Ahmad has treated numerous notable athletes and has contributed significantly to the field of sports medicine through over 100 publications and lectures. They currently serve as the Chief of Adolescent and Pediatric Sports Medicine at the Center for Orthopaedic Research and have held various physician roles, including with the New York City Football Club and local high schools.
