Michael Margolis

Senior Director, Communications & Media Relations at New York Yankees

Michael Margolis is the Senior Director of Communications and Media Relations for the New York Yankees. Prior to their current position, Margolis worked as the Director of Accounting for the Albuquerque Isotopes Baseball Club and as a legal assistant for Treacy, Schaffel, Moore & Mueller. Margolis began their career at MetLife as a financial analyst in their Analyst Rotation Program. There, they conducted credit recommendations and reviewed financial statements for Global Research in the Consumer Goods, Retail, and Media Sectors. Michael also served as a liaison for trading activity with MetLife’s securities suppliers on the High Yield and Emerging Markets Trading Desk. Lastly, they conducted analytics for portfolios consisting of $17 billion of fixed income securities as part of the Portfolio Management team for the Deferred Annuity and Index Account Portfolios.

Michael Margolis' educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. Michael also participated in a full-year study abroad program in English Literature at the University of Oxford. Prior to attending college, they attended Horace Mann School for grades 7-12.
