David Specht

David Specht has over 20 years of experience in software development. David began their career in 1997 as a QA Intern at Tactica Corp. In 1998, they moved to BBox, Inc. as an Application Architect. From 2001 to 2003, they worked at Agaso LLC as an Application Architect. During this time, they designed web applications for a broad range of clients and built ASP.NET websites and web applications. From 2003 to 2005, they worked at Lamont Management, Inc. as an Application Architect, helping develop architecture for an online payroll loan web application and creating demos to show potential investors. From 2005 to 2006, they worked at CreateForLess as a Software Engineer, maintaining the ecommerce platform and developing new tools to drive customers to the site. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Epiq as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, developing React websites and various supporting React controls deployed via npm, as well as developing .Net Core Single Sign-On integrations with Okta. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at ShiftWise as a Senior Application Engineer, building new RESTful .Net Core APIs for integration with the core product and modernizing file integration services and adding new file integration capabilities. David is currently employed at YAPI as a Principal Software Developer and Senior Software Developer.

David Specht obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Portland State University in 1999. David also obtained a certification in Web Security: OAuth and OpenID Connect from LinkedIn in October 2020.
