Simin Arda

Simin ARDA began their work experience as an Attorney at Law at Verdi ve Yazici Avukatl\u0131k Ortakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 in June 2006. In this role, they provided legal advice to banks, intermediary companies, corporations, and multinational companies, focusing on banking legislations, capital markets regulations, and relevant laws and regulations. Simin also handled legal aspects of merger and acquisition transactions, legal due diligences, banking law, share transfers, incorporation of companies, and Capital Markets Board disclosures. Simin worked at Verdi ve Yazici Avukatl\u0131k Ortakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 until April 2011.

In May 2011, Simin joined Yap\u0131 Kredi as a Legal Counsel. In this role, they were involved in major project and structured finance transactions related to various sectors, such as hydroelectric energy, wind energy, thermal energy, solar energy, refinancings, shopping malls, electricity distribution, and natural gas. Simin was also responsible for handling Treasury transactions, privatizations, PPP projects, and reviewing lawsuits files. Simin provided and reviewed legal opinions and necessary documents to finalize transactions. Simin served as a Legal Counsel until September 2014.

Afterwards, Simin became the PF Legal Support Manager at Yap\u0131 Kredi. Simin held this position from September 2014 to May 2019, during which they managed legal support for project finance transactions.

Finally, in May 2019, Simin ARDA was promoted to the role of Director in the Legal Department at Yap\u0131 Kredi.

Simin ARDA attended Yeditepe University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in Law. In 2006, they participated in the International Law Summer School at American University Washington College of Law. Simin also attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2005 for the European Union Law Summer School. Simin ARDA studied at İstanbul Özel Saint-Joseph Fransız Lisesi / Lycée Français Privé Saint-Joseph d'Istanbul, but the specific duration and field of study are unknown. Simin participated in an Energy Law Seminar at Galatasaray University in 2010 and attended a Fundamentals of Derivatives Seminar at ISDA in 2009.
