Yara Sophia is a Los Angeles-based sculptural fine jewelry practice founded by Faith Oftadeh.

Working primarily in solid gold and natural stones, each piece begins as a hand-carved wax form shaped directly by touch rather than digital precision. 

Yara Sophia sits between jewelry and sculpture. Objects feel both ancient and contemporary and are designed not around trend cycles, but around permanence, individuality, and emotional connection. Asymmetry, texture, and variation are intentionally preserved through the casting process, allowing every piece to retain a sense of movement and human presence.

The work reflects a belief that meaningful objects become part of the lives and experiences they move through over time. Pieces are heavily influenced by modernist architecture, sculpture, and natural form.

Yara Sophia remains intentionally artist-led and small-scale, producing handmade work in Los Angeles through custom commissions, limited releases, and direct collector relationships.
