Brian Mayers serves as an Investor and Company Builder at Breakthrough Energy Ventures since September 2018, focusing on innovative technologies that combat climate change. With over $1 billion in committed capital, Breakthrough Energy Ventures supports entrepreneurs in reducing emissions across various sectors. Additionally, Brian holds board positions and observer roles at several companies, including Stealth Energy Company, LuxWall, Yard Stick PBC, H2Pro, Ecocem Materials, and Terra CO2 Technologies. Brian has an academic background with a PhD in Chemistry from Harvard University and undergraduate studies at the University of Washington from 1999 to 2003.
