Tyson Huebner is the Director of Institutional Research at Yardi Matrix, a position held since 2023, following a 12-year tenure at Heitman where they served as Vice President of Research. In that role, Tyson managed the investment strategy for over $10 billion in self-storage and student housing assets. With a strong background in economic and property research, Tyson has developed unique insights into alternative real estate sectors and has shared their expertise at various industry events. Tyson holds a Bachelor's degree from North Central College and a Master's degree in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Tyson has resided in Chicago for the past 20 years.
