Federico Mor

Federico Mor is the Co-founder and CEO of yarn since April 2023, with a robust background in competition policy and economic research. Previously, Federico served as Project Director for Competition Policy at the Financial Reporting Council, leading market opening reforms in the audit sector from July 2021 to February 2024. As a Principal Adviser at the Competition and Markets Authority from November 2019 to June 2021, Federico collaborated with various professionals to address competitive impacts during the COVID-19 pandemic and conducted influential research on the UK economy's competition landscape. Federico's experience in the House of Commons included roles as Senior Business & Finance Specialist and Senior Economic Researcher, where expertise centered around key economic issues such as Brexit and corporate governance. Early career roles included positions at London Councils, Southwark Council, and Grant Thornton UK LLP. Federico holds a Master of Science in Philosophy and Public Policy from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Comparative Literature from King's College London.
