Sam Petrou

Sam Petrou has extensive work experience in engineering roles with a focus on seating systems and mechanical engineering. Sam began their career with AutoCRC, where they conducted research and development of an active head restraint system. Sam then moved on to Futuris Automotive, where they worked as a Product Engineer on various projects, including the Tesla Model X and Model S. At HSV - Holden Special Vehicles, they served as a Senior Engineer before joining Yarra Trams. At Yarra Trams, they have taken on roles as a Project Engineer and is currently working as a Lead Mechanical Engineer. Throughout their career, Sam has demonstrated skills in design, development, validation, and project management.

Sam Petrou attended Swinburne University of Technology from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with a minor in Manufacturing.
