James Sinclair

James Sinclair is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software and firmware development, primarily in the automotive sector. Currently serving as Head of Software Engineering at YASA since January 2019, James previously held the position of Lead Firmware Engineer. Prior roles include Technical Lead at Delphi Technologies, where James oversaw closed loop injector projects, Team Lead for Motor Control Software at McLaren Applied Technologies, focusing on advanced embedded systems for hybrid and electric vehicles, and various roles at Delphi, contributing to engine management system software and high-pressure fuel injection systems. James began career at Heil Trailer International as a Design Engineer. James holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester.
