Alan Ater, PMP, LEED AP, currently serves as Chief Estimator at Yates Construction, leading preconstruction and procurement for semiconductor and mission-critical projects since September 2021. Previously, Alan held various roles, including Estimating Executive at Gilbane Building Company, where responsibilities encompassed preconstruction and procurement for the Federal Unit in EMEA and APAC. Alan's experience also includes acting as Senior Transition Program Manager, overseeing a significant real estate transition project within the oil and gas sector, and serving as Federal JV Program Manager at Camp Construction Services, managing business development and project execution for military bases. With a foundational background as a Senior Estimator at several companies and a degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University, Alan has built a diverse and extensive career in the construction industry.
