Gregory Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Currently serving as the Director of BIM/VDC at Yates Construction since November 2022, Gregory leads a team to implement innovative technology initiatives and facilitate organizational change. Previously, as the Director of Virtual Design and Construction at Lease Crutcher Lewis, emphasis was placed on promoting VDC/BIM values. Gregory has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Washington State University, teaching BIM and VDC fundamentals. With a strong background at notable companies including DPR Construction, Autodesk, and Skanska USA Building Inc., Gregory has consistently excelled in developing VDC programs and technical expertise.
